Got knocked out at my game today, but it was only for 5 or so seconds. All I remember is me running at the ball and pulling my foot back to kick. Then I find myself awake, facing the other way, with the taste of blood in my mouth. I had no idea how bad it was, but it must've been because the ref asked me how many fingers he was holding up (One just in case you wanted to know). According to my team mates, the other kid and I had hit, I spun 180 degrees, and landed. One teammate was suprised I got up, and Jared Gurtis said that if I can get up so quickly after that, I'm playing football next season. We lost 6-1, but me being knocked out set up the one goal. My right cheek is swollen so if I look kinda weird on Monday, you'll know why.
Who says soccer isn't a contact sport?

Well I leave in less than 5 hours to Brasil, so I hope everyone else finishes off their summer well. I'm gonna go train for 8 days then go to a beach resort on the equator where it's always hot. I'm taking a camera so I should have pics. Guess I'll see most of you in school, bye.

01. Reply with your name and I will write something about you. 02. I will then tell what song/movie remind me of you. 03. If I were to apply an o'clock to you, it would be... 04. I will try to name a single word that best describes you. 05. I'll tell you the most memorable moment I've had with you. 06. I will tell you what animal you remind me of. 07. I'll then tell you something that I've always wondered about you. 08. Put this in your journal.

Well it's been brought to my attention by Ted that I haven't updated in a while (over a month actually), so here it is...
Spring break has been pretty good, but I haven't hung out with anyone. I got some shirts on monday and hung out with my mom. Tuesday I stayed at home until practice, and did badly there. Wednesday I went to see Robots at downtown Disney, then hung out around there for a while. Thursday I played tennis with my dad and then I went to practice (which we did absolutely nothing in), then I watched Finding Neverland at my house. Yesterday I stayed home for most of the day, then watched Ladder 49--which is a very sad movie, but good at the same time. Today, I went to a tennis lesson and talked with the coach (Ang if you know him), and he told me he needs a goalkeeper for his soccer team. I just got back from the Altamonte Theatre after seeing Pacifier, and the teenage girl (Zoe) is extremely hot.
I really want the Schiavo case overwith, because I am sick of constantly seeing pictures and video of a frail woman who is, as ted says, a prisoner of her own body. Her parents are trying everything to get her feeding tube re-inserted, but they have failed so many times...would you like to be in a vegetative state for 15 years of your life? My dad told me that if he ever goes into a vegetative state, to pull the plug immediately. Other than that, the parents have approximately 6 days left to "save" their daughter--if the doctors are correct.
Have a good spring break and best wishes, Burns

Looks like the trendy thing to do, so...
1. Reply with your name and I will write something about you.
2. I will then tell what song(s) remind me of you.
3. Next, I will tell you who you remind me of, celebrity/animated or otherwise.
4. Last, i will try to name a single word that best describes you.
5. Put this in your journal.

[14 Jan 2005|01:06pm] |
Well our game is cancelled for tonight, and I really wanted to play because I played horribly on Weds. My excuse for Weds is that I had taken 605 MC/Short answer questions in 3 days. After yesterday, the total is 661 questions, but whatever.
Other than that...
GAME ON TUESDAY AT 5:00 VS EVANS HIGH SCHOOL. IT'S A HOME GAME, AND WE SHOULD WIN IT.

Yay, next week is exam week, and I have to take 6 out of my seven exams. The only one I don't have to take is the weight training exam, and that is because I dress out. This is really lame to me, because I am so close to getting an A in a few of my classes.
- English - 88 avg
- History - I don't know, but a B average
- Weight Training - Exempt (Even though the exam would be fun...)
- Math - Impossible for me to get an A, but I'll get extra credit points
- Spanish - 89 avg
- Chemistry - 9 wk Exam is incorporated, but I still think it is almost impossible for me to get an A
- Physics - Maybe if I am lucky I will be exempt, but if not, OPEN NOTE TEST!
So I get half of one day off, but look on the bright side...we get out at 12:10.

Time. Have you ever had a week that seemed to take forever, but when you look back at it, it only took a short period of time. Same thing with life. You might feel old one day, but that really doesn't matter. Stop and think for a second...how long has life been. Adults always talk about their kids growing up fast, and about their kids growing in the blink of an eye. Look back on your life and notice how long it seems to be.
The amount of time we have can vary, and when it does, it either takes forever or goes really quick. Why is it that when you are hating something, it takes a long period of time to complete. If you enjoy something, "time flies." Does anybody know why this happens, or does anybody care?
I don't know why I thought of this, but I had to get it off my chest.

We had a game tonight, and thanks to everyone that came and watched. I'm so mad at myself because i was taken out of the game in the first half. Why? Simply because I hurt my quad, and everything went down hill from there. Again, thanks for coming...
